Client – Bouvard Cruises

These poster were to be displayed in the local visitors centre and on the back of buses so the images had to be strong and their message instantly understood. Bouvard Cruises two most popular tours (not counting the Xmas light!) are it’s dolphin and canal cruises and these poster were used to grab potential customers attention.

Coffee Table Book – Hamilton Island
CLIENT – Self Published

This full colour 84 page soft cover book was self published by myself and 3 friends as a tourist souviner of Hamilton Island and the Whitsundays. All the photography was taken by Chris Carter and Ciaran Handy, Ray Johnston and myself wrote the copy and over many nights and many reds we slowly put the book together. We had the book printed in China to keep the costs low and it was then sold through the many outlets on the island. It was a fun project for everyone involved.

Collateral Design & Branding
CLIENT – Hamilton Island Resort & Powerade

For 15 years I designed all the event collateral for firstly the Coca-Cola Hamilton Island Cup then when Coca-Cola decided to align it’s Powerade product with the event I worked with Coke and Powerade on the re-branding and renaming to ensured a smooth transition.

This was one of my favourite annual jobs because it involved design across all the event collateral including merchandise, full colour programs, over sized prize cheques, certificates, event DVD, medals and trophy designs and even race course design.

CLIENT – Sea Kayaking Whitsundays

This was my eco-tourism kayaking company, a good excuse to get out of the office now and again! Another great total branding exercise from start up through to full operation. It included all collateral, website and a range of t-shirt designs. It was also my first dable with inbound marketing unknown to me at the time.

DL Booklet and fold out map for tourist drive
Client – Hotham Way Committee

This was a very interesting and challenging project, to design a 16 page colour DL booklet with fold out map for a tourist drive that involved 5 councils and keep everyone happy. The total collateral included the booklet, A4 flyer and map, street signage, bumper stickers, coffee mugs and stationary. The logo was the key element in the design with the colours of the logo progressing through the booklet as the journey unfolded. This was achieved by having the name of the town on each page match it’s position on the logo which also made up the spine of the booklet on each page.
